Awards The Societies of SLB and IEIIS are pleased to offer a variety of award programs honoring and recognizing investigators at various stages in their careers. Please follow the links below for further detail. Application for Travel awards, Thorbeck, Dolph Adams, SLB Presidential and IEIIS Young Investigator Awards will be requested and processed during abstract submission. All of these awards require submission of a CV, NIH Biosketch, cover letter, and sponsor recommendation letter.
FASEB MARC Awards FASEB MARC Poster/Platform (Oral) Presenter Travel Awards are available for the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Society for Leukocyte Biology held jointly with IEIIS. Each award helps to defray meeting registration and travel-related expenses (lodging, transportation, per diem) for an eligible underrepresented minority undergraduate, graduate student, post-baccalaureate or postdoctoral fellow who is 1st author and has been selected to give an oral or poster presentation at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Society for Leukocyte Biology. 2010 WINNER: Ashley Triplett, University of Louisville
